Spritzed!

Good Morning Everyone although it's a pretty miserable one here today and to add to the misery I've just finished a pile of ironing ugh!

I have a very quick card to show today.

I sprayed several pieces of white card with Cosmic Shimmer sprays when I had them out a few days ago.

Next I pounced a Ranger Pewter stain on a small area, cut to size and embossed it with an  embossing folder.  Then I rubbed black soot over area of the background and matted onto black card.

The diecut is a Spellbinders and the sentiment is by Paula Pascal which I punched out.

The hearts and flowers were cut from offcuts of the card and the Sparkler and ribbon are from my stash.
I'd like to enter my card into the following Challenge   Fab 'n' Funky #305 "No Designer Papers"

Fabulous effect on your background, it makes your card so interesting! The spellbinder frame and the bow add a lot of elegance!
Here the sun shined this morning... but this evening (now) there are a lot of big black clouds that prepare an imminent rain :(
...But no ironing for me today.. yay! :D

I really like the background that you've created here Barb, it looks quite metallic. The spritzing has worked really well and looks good on your flowers and hearts too. The white die cut frame and sentiment stand out perfectly against the darker background, lovely layout. Crafty hugs, Sandra :) x

Great spritzing and colouring to create a stunning card. Fortunately it's only my uniform that needs ironing, but I still begrudge doing it! Cara x

I try to buy wash and wear when I can to avoid ironing. It's one of those 4-lettered words right alongside of dust, snow, puke, and bill. I really like that background of yours. It looks so metallic and industrial, then you paired with delicate frills and hearts. So cool!
