Yesterday I went to a workshop with some friends. We really enjoyed meeting up with others.
I thought you might like to see one of the three cards we made.
I've not come across this type of card before and it was fun to make although I'm not the best at lining up border punches and there were four layers to punch out on this one.
I always find it easier to stand to punch borders.
Here's how the finished card stands up

How clever and very unusual Barb! Really pretty design too. Like you, I always stand up to punch - and have even been known to stand on tough punches :)

Beautiful way to use the border punches! I have several that I never use now that I have dies as I always seem to have trouble lining them up. Maybe I'll try again after seeing this as I really do love the look & some of my punches are beautiful designs. Thanks for the inspiration, Barb!
Wow! I haven't seen before a card as this one, great template and how much work on its "wings"! Really a lovely folding, great design with this cute image, the lace borders and the dp!!

This is a fold technique new to me and love the way you've done the punched borders. Look very perfect to me. I'm not great at doing this either...and I have the one I think you've used here. It looks like beautiful lace trim. Cute image, and nice to be able to enjoy your workshop efforts along with you. TFS & Hugs.

Well you did a wonderful job with those borders Barb and the card is so pretty but it took me a few minutes to work out the shape. Doh! I have masses of border punches so I will put it on my to do list.
