Hubby had a special birthday last week so we had friends to stay for several days to help us celebrate.
As the weather was so lovely we were able to get out and about a lot and we had a great time. I took a blog break but now I'm back I look forward to seeing what I have missed.
I think it's going to take a while to catch up but I'll be popping in to visit all my friends over the next few days to see what you've been up to.
Here's my card for Pixie's Snippets Playground - Week 228.
The crazy bird, his hat and present were made with scraps of white card, the green is a snippets and the balloon was stamped on a tiny piece left over from my butterfly card then rubbed over with green Distress ink.
When the card was done it somehow looked unfinished but rounding off two corners seemed to do the trick.

I have really liked these Angry bird stamps and accessories but my Grandson's were not into them and didn't know anyone that was, but I do love them and was temped but for once I resisted.

These goofy birds with the silly expressions always make me smile. It took me a while to order the set, because I'm thinking "What would I do with it?" Kept seeing all the cute things bloggers were making, so finally did succumb to temptation. Love him in pink feathers, and he looks very festive for the birthday celebration. Belated happy birthday to your husband. Love your card, and isn't it funny what a big difference a tiny change can make, those two rounded corners seem to bring the whole thing together, as if you'd planned it that way all along

Belated birthday wishes to Bruce! Hope he had a lovely time. Your card is just great - and you used what I think is my very favourite of the Crazy Birds - it's the wry look on its face :) And, rounding the corners worked a treat - isn't it amazing how just a couple of little touches like that can totally finish off a card?!

A great card, I bought the crazy bird set and accessories and have played with them but have yet to finish a card.
I love the look on this bird's face, he looks as if he is really enjoying his birthday!
