Smiles on Friday - 160

Happy Friday Everybody.

It's time to share smiles from the week with Annie at her blog,  A Stitch in Time.

This is the blackboard in our kitchen which we find invaluable these days.

As you see I'm off to the NEC Hobbycrafts show.  coach booked and ticket paid for.  I noticed this morning hubby had drawn a grumpy looking dog at the top.

It's not meant as a grumpy message he assures me - it was just a doodle while he was waiting for the kettle to boil to make our morning 'cuppa'.

The little teddy was one of Maggy's doggie toys and that's a pizza oops! I meant paella dish hanging on the right .  I couldn't  live without one and I've used it twice!

I've had a happy week.  I did my first Guest Design Team spot ever on Monday which was very exciting and my card is here.  Then I won some lovely blog candy on Wednesday and yesterday evening we went  out to dinner with six friends and had a lovely time.

So a good week for me.  I hope you've enjoyed your week.  However, I am aware that it has been a sad time for you, Annie, losing your little dog.  They are so important in our lives.  We lost our Maggy Wagtail two years ago and still miss her very much,

I'm glad you had a great night out. I'm so jealous of you going to the NEC show. Think I'll have to buy tickets to the Bolton show in May, just to ease the jealousy you understand! Have a great weekend, Cara x

Lucky you to be able to go to the NEC. I have been a couple of times when we lived in the UK, but most years I would go to the Exeter show, and I think they did one in Shepton Mallet once too.
You green card is great! No wonder it was chosen.
Have a good week and thanks for visiting,
LIcsa

We have a white board in this house but you can't write on it as it's magnetic so all sorts of rubbish gets pinned on it!
Enjoy the NEC, jealous.
P.S Tell hubby, nice dog. ;)

Hugs Erika. x

Thank you for visiting me while I slept. Your chalk board made me smile. That dog toy made me smile. I think Squiggles wouldn't be able to throw that in the food dish!

Loved your hubby's drawing, too. Since I'm from the states, I'm not sure what the NEC is, but it sounds like you are going to have a good time and spend lots of money. Congrats on the guest spot.

Have a wonderful Friday and I know you'll be smiling all through the weekend, too.

I love the idea of you and hubby leaving drawings for each other. I have loads of "once used must haves". Continue to have a Fab week.

That's a nice little message center you have there. We are looking for a nice one for near our front door. Currently we use a raggedy cork board. We are adamant that we aren't putting old junk in our new house.

A reminder board is always a useful item to have. Mine is not as tidy as yours though!
I have a paella pan that is on a par with your pizza pan!
Lucky you to be heading to NEC soon. I loved my biannual visits there when I lived in Shropshire. It's a bit of a long haul from Spain though! Have a great time there. Kate x
