Happy Rudolph Day!
As it's 25th of the month it's time again to join in with a Christmas card with Mo on her Scraps of Life blog for her Rudolph Day Challenge.
I've decided recycle old Christmas cards to try to get ahead this year.
I embossed this dear little robin image through my Cuttlebug then rubbed over the raised areas with a sanding block.
I matted onto the red card which was die cut with a Tonic matting die, added the ribbon and a punched snowflake.
The 5 inch card was made with Centura Pearl.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a photo without reflection.

Great card Barb! I like recycling too but don't think I've ever thought to emboss the image - clever idea. And you've reminded me that I really must make a Rudolph Day card asap :) Hope you have a lovely Easter weekend. Elizabeth xx

This is another card Barb where you've thought out of the box. I quite often recycle old Christmas cards but I've never thought to run them through an embossing folder. You are full of great ideas and a great inspiration x
I'd never have thought to emboss over an image like that, but it looks wonderful. You are the queen of recycling! Cara x

Great card Barb love the embossing :), I love to upcycle received cards where I can...I always pull off bows, buttons or sentiments if I can. Always takes me back to being a child using mums pinking shears to cut up the xmas cards to make tags for the following year. Great memories !
Hugs, Kaz x
